Former Governor of Zamfara State, Abdul Aziz Yari, and the current Minister for Police Affairs, Alh. Maigari Dingyadi are said to have influenced the removal of Zamfara State Police Commissioner, and deployed Kano State Police Commissioner along with 23,000 armed policemen to rig Bakura bye election in favor of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
A resident of Yarkofogi revealed to us that, he and his entire families are on the run for the fear of heavily armed policemen within the vicinity of Yarkofogi.
