No fewer than 10,000 Maradun residents troop out to welcome their beloved son, the Executive Governor of Zamfara State, Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle who came along with the State newly inaugurated 2023 State election Screening Committee for familiarization visit.
It was reliably gathered that the committee members under the Chairmanship of Barr. Tahir Ferobe promised the aspirants justice during the exercise.
In the same development, Governor Matawalle paid a visit to the Emir of Maradun, His Royal Highness, Garba Muhammad Tambari II where the Emir assured the Governor of his full support ahead of the 2023 general elections.
In his response to the Emir, Governor Matawalle said; “The reconciliation meeting between my camp and former Governor Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari, Senator Kabiru Marafa has come to stay for the interest of the State not for our personal political ambition.”
“We will continue to work together to move Zamfara State forward to compete with other developed States in the country.”
Among the Governor entourages were the top APC leaders, praise singers, political appointees and many more. The Governor has since returned back to the state capital, Gusau attending to numerous states commitments.
