Rumours emerging from Zamfara State have it that Late Lawan Dare and Late Sani Masaka share the same DNA with the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomole.
A source revealed that the Zamfara State APC Governorship candidate for the 2023 general elections, Alh. Dauda Lawal Dare, is a blood relation of Adams Oshiomole.
Alh. Dauda Lawal, a banker and politician whose background history might not be known to many citizens of Zamfara State is said to be from Edo State.
According to a source: “Dauda Lawal Dare who as far as the history is concern knew very well that, he is from Edo State, a prove that he cannot disclaim. That is why Adam Oshiomole insisted in his emergence as the candidate to replace Yari before the divine emergence of Gov. Bello Matawalle in 2019, as Zamfara State Governor.”
“Oshiomhole’s attempt was strongly was resisted by the former Governor Abdul-Aziz Abubakar Yari that year, describing the move as a broad day political robbery on the good people of Zamfara State who might not know where Lawal originated from.”
