That Nollywood star actress, Iyabo Ojo through her lawyers, ‘The Maverick Fort Legal’ has demanded N100 million damages from her colleague, Yomi Fabiyi is an established fact.
However, reacting to the legal action against him by The Maverick Fort Legal, Fabiyi, in an Instagram live session, said;
“Where would I get N100m from? Which house do I have to sell? If you write N100m, once they bring all the people involved in the case, they would (by themselves) reduce the money to N10m. At the end of the day, they would still not get a dime from me.”
“In the sense that if I refuse to collect the letter, you would keep pursuing me to collect it from you. After then, if I so wish to respond, I would only respond to whoever has a case with me.”
For those who don’t know, Yomi Fabiyi recently staged a protest demanding the bail and release of Baba Ijesha who has been in police detention for allegedly raping a minor.
However, during the protest, it was said that defamatory statements were made on the placard they were carrying which reads thus; “Nigeria Police please allow the law to dictate to you not Iyabo Ojo, Princess and Co. Please release Baba Ijesha.”
