Popular Nigerian seer and philanthropist, Primate Elijah Ayodele’s INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke-Afa, Lagos was agog on Friday, February 14, 2020 as it played host to the World Peace President, Ambassador Per Stafsen, his team and other dignitaries for the United Nations 75th Anniversary Ceremony flag off.
In his welcome address speech at the flag-off of the United Nations Online Conversation in Lagos State, Nigeria for the first time, Amb. Stafsen said;
“The Chief host of this event, Primate Amb. Babatunde Ayodele Government official and Representatives here present Gentlemen and ladies, clergymen, women, youth and stakeholders All protocol duly observed.”
“I am overwhelmed with the reception that was accorded me with my team in spite of our late arrival. This has further my observation and conclusion to say with absolute finality that every good step is known by its first beginning. I am proud to say that am with the right people of God.”
“Today marks a turning point in the history of the international community as we have gathered here to flag off the United Nations On-line Conversation for the first time in Nigeria and second time in the world soon after it was launched a week ago by His Excellency, Antonio Gutteres, and Secretary General of the United Nations.”
“The online conversation is geared towards asembling 10 million Nigeria voices that will engage the United Nations We Need. As facilitator of this conversation, we may wish to inform this audience that your input into this platform will amount to a better feedback to the United Nations that will aid them in achieving a sustainable, inclusive and a peaceful society.”
