The lingering rumour that Rivers State former governor and Minister-designate, Nyesom Wike will soon join the All Progressives Congress (APC) has gained more weight as the PDP stalwart meets the National Chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Ganduje.
Wike visited Ganduje at his residence in Abuja on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023.
Although the purpose of the meeting was not ascertained.
Wike’s close associate, @TopboyChriss, disclosed this via his Twitter page.
He wrote; “Nyesom Wike today visited the National Chairman of APC, Alhaji Umar Ganduje, at his residence in Abuja.”
Recall that Wike, during the presidential election opted to work for Tinubu as against his party, PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
Interestingly, as a reward, President Bola Tinubu nominated him as one of his ministers.
Besides, Wike had been screened and cleared by the Senate for the ministerial position.
