VeryDarkMan Gets N2 Million Bail On Stringent Terms

Popular social media critic, Vincent Otse, well known as VeryDarkMan, has been granted bail by court following his arraignment for impersonation.

He was granted bail in the sum of N2 million with two sureties in like sum.

However, the court has ordered him to deposit his international passports and any other means of identification including that of his sureties.

Popular lawyer and counsel to VeryDarkMan, Deji Adeyanju, disclosed this on Friday, November 1st, 2024.

He said; “Two million, two sureties in like terms. Sureties to deposit international passports, sureties to provide means of Identification. Sureties to depose to affidavit to provide the defendant during trial at all times.”

“⁠Prosecutor to verify sureties’ address. Sureties to provide utility bills, defendant to depose to affidavit to be available at all times during trial. Sureties to reside within the Court’s jurisdiction, particularly Abuja municipal.”

For those who don’t know, VeryDarkMan, in one of his videos was seen donning a police uniform. The social media critic also introduced himself as “Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) of the Online Division” in the video.

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) seemed not to take the video likely since he did not take permission from the authority before dressing like a police officer which the force describes as impersonation.

Consequently, he was invited by the police for investigation in Abuja. On Friday, November 1st, 2024 he was arraigned in court.
