Africa’s global bank, United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc. is not relenting on his bid to producing more millionaires in his Super Savers scheme as it has rewarded its loyal customers in the just-concluded UBA Super Savers draw.
The draw which saw UBA giving out a total of N16.6 million cash prizes was held on Friday, May 27th, 2022 at its Head Office inside the classy Tony Elumelu Amphitheatre and it was broadcasted live on its social media channels.
The draw was witnessed by members of the press as well as representatives of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) and the Consumer Protection Council (CPC).
Twelve (12) new millionaires won a total of N13.2 million as one person got N500,000 while 20 Bumper Account holders smiled home with N100,000 each.
Also, ten (10) Savings Account customers won N1 million respectively as five (5) NextGen customers will get N15,000 each every month for one year.
In the Bumper account category, the draw saw Elisha Zari Yusuf, a UBA Bumper account holder, emerged winner of the N2 million prize while Naomi Ogoma Aba, another loyal customer of the bank won N1.2 million, a reward for house rent. Veronica Misimawu Logbo got the N500,000 reward in the draws.
The twenty (20) winners of the N100,000 cash prize include Oluchukwu Philomena Aliuna; Olewu Stella Chinyere; Sola Friday Bamidele; Sarafadeen Emitomo Sunkanmi; Jamila Usman; Rabiu Ibrahim Mahammed; Fine Ughelli; Anietie Sunday Akaninyi; Gloria Folake Oteji; Rabiu Ahmed Imam; Prestige Chukwuemeka Chima; Ifeanyi Okechukwu; Titilayo Mufutiat Leyeni; Aminat Abisola Adenusi; Nasir Umar Ismail; Musa Salisu; Chibueze Emeka; Ali Isla; Onireti Babatunde Charles and Ayoola Daniel Oyemomilara.
However, when the bank put a call across to some of the lucky winners to congratulate them, they all spoke in disbelief expressing their gratitudes to UBA for the kind gesture.
Meanwhile, speaking after the draw, Head, Personal Banking, UBA, Ogechi Altraide, congratulated all the lucky winners of the Super Savers draw, reiterating on the bank’s continued bid to make more millionaires in the Super Savers initiative.
It is interesting to know that since UBA commenced the promo in 2020, over 300 winners have emerged from the initiative that continues to reward loyalty and encourage customers to cultivate a savings habit.
Besides, the last mega draws held in December 2021, saw lots of customers rewarded by UBA.
