The Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Mariya Mahmoud’s private residence was engulfed by fire on Sunday afternoon, February 25th, 2024.
The property, located on No. 9, Justice Roseline Ukeji Close, in the upscale Asokoro area of Abuja was razed completely by the inferno.
The Minister’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr. Austin Elemue, confirmed the incident.
He said the cause of the fire outbreak is being investigated.
