Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has dispelled the rumour making the rounds that he travelled abroad to take care of his health after the presidential election.
However, following his arrival to Nigeria after a 32-day vacation abroad, Tinubu, revealed to his critics that he is strong and ready to hit the ground running.
He said; “I am happy to be back. I have rested. I am refreshed and I am ready for the task ahead. Forget about what the rumour mill may have told you. I am strong, very strong.”
However, speaking on his plans for Nigeria, Tinubu said; “I have been consulting and planning with a view to putting together a strong team so I can hit the ground running once I assume office on May 29.”
