The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been dealt a heavy blow as the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi has defeated him in Lagos State.
If there is any place Tinubu should be losing it is highly expected that it will not be Lagos State being his home State and his stronghold.
Interestingly, Tinubu won more local government areas, however, Peter Obi defeated him with the majority of the votes cast.
According to the result, Tinubu won in 11 local government while the Labour Party candidate won in nine local governments.
