An Oyo High Court has restrained the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN) and the Department of State Security (DSS) from arresting the embattled Yoruba nation freedom fighter, Sunday Adeyemo a.k.a Sunday Igboho.

The Court is also restraining the AGF and the DSS from harassing, intimidating and blocking Igboho’s bank accounts.

The order was granted by Justice Ladiean Akintola following an ex-parte motion moved by his lawyer Chief Yomi Aliu (SAN) at the court on Wednesday, August 4th, 2021.

The motion developed from the originating motion seeking N500 billion damages for invasion of his house in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital on July 1.

The counsel expressed confidence that Malami will not disobey the court order, stressing that it was given directly against his office.

However, the suit has been adjourned to August 18, 2021 by the court.
