Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, a subsidiary of Stanbic IBTC Holdings and member of Standard Bank Group, has launched the Season 2 of its talent hunt show, FUZE.
FUZE 2.0 was officially unveiled on Friday, October 20th, 2023 at the Stanbic IBTC Pension House, Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos which had in attendance officials of the financial institution, the show judges and members of the press from different news platforms.
Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers at a press briefing with the media said young Nigerian talents should register for the talent hunt show which cut across different categories – music, dance, fashion and tech. The financial institution stated that this year’s edition would be more exciting and rewarding.
Speaking during the unveiling of Fuze 2.0, the Executive Director, Business Development, Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, Nike Bajomo said; “Fuze is a journey for Sanbic IBTC Pension Managers. We help and encourage young talents in Nigeria to grow their talents by providing them financial fitness. Fuze talent hunt show is in different categories – dance, music, fashion and tech. That is what Fuze talent is all about.”
The financial institution stated that a whopping sum of N36 million will be up for a grab by the contestants.
Why giving the breakdown of the prize money, it says that the overall winner in the Tech, Music, Dance and Fashion categories will smile home with N5 million prize money respectively (N20 million). Second – N3 million per category (12 million) and third – N1 million each per category (N4 million)
One of the top officials of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers said; “The initiative is about catching them young and investing in their talents.”
“As a financial institution what we do is that we put the contestants through financial training, we empower and encourage them to do what they like doing during the Fuze Festival and we set them on the right stage. We also help them to manage their prize money.”
“We usually invite the winners to share their stories to encourage other younger ones and like-minded youths.”
However, sharing his experience, Afrobeat artiste and winner of the Fuze 1.0 edition, Rajel confessed that since he won the talent hunt show his life has not remained the same.
He said; “I promised myself at the beginning of the show that this would be my last talent hunt show I would ever attend. The show came at a time when I needed it most. When the show came out I registered and won. It has been upward movement ever since I won the show.”
