Famous singer, Timi Dakolo, has made some surprising revelations about himself and his wife, Busola Dakolo.
Dakolo, in a recent interview spoke candidly about his wife and the challenges they faced in their relationship.
He said; “I met my wife in the church. I went to her and asked her to be my date for a ball. She gave me her number but wasn’t picking up the phone when I called. I kept going to the area hoping to see her again. Then I saw her one day and I asked her why was she not picking my calls and she said her phone got stolen.”
“I sympathised with her and we became friends. I started developing feelings for her and she wanted to friend-zone me but I refused. I suffered to win her love. I was taking her to work to and fro. At one time, she used to be embarrassed whenever I picked her up with the branded Picanto I won from Nigerian Idols. I said, ‘Okay, don’t worry. I will shock you. Don’t look down on me.’ And I did.”
For those who don’t know, Timi Dakolo and Busola got married in 2012. They are blessed with three children.
