Nigeria music star, Harrison Tare Okiri, popularly known as Harrysong has been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) in Lagos.
The singer was apprehended on Tuesday morning, October 11th, 2022 after claiming that music executive, Soso Soberekon sent people to kill him.
Harrysong was picked up by the police from the airport on his arrival in Nigeria on Tuesday morning.
Police sources disclosed that Harrysong will be questioned over the matter and might be released or detained further depending on the outcome of their investigation.
For those who don’t know, the singer had in a recent interview accused Soso Soberekon of trying to kill him.
He said; “Most people seen as my friends are real enemies looking for my downfall.”
“90% of all the friendships are fake. There are people I’ve been working with for years. If you call their names you go say na Harry guy be this. Dem no be my guy.”
“As a matter of fact, those are my real enemies. If you see Soso now, you’ll say Soso is my friend. Soso is not my friend, Soso is my enemy.”
“He sent people to come and kill me in Port Harcort, no jokes. Ask my team, ask everyone. I have evidence, I have videos, I have pictures.”
“This is no joke. You’ll say he is my friend, he’s not my friend. He wants to kill me.”

However, Soso Soberekon, in a letter by his lawyers, Limit Legal Partners, dated October 4th, 2022 demanded for immediate retraction, an apology and payment of demages in the sum of N500 million for libel from the entertainer.
