Nigerian music star, Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake has now reconciled with his father, Fatai Odunsi, after a period of estrangement and has made commitments to support him both financially and emotionally.
This was revealed by Mr. Odunsi in a recent interview.
He said; “His mother should have asked him when last he saw me, which is what upset me, but we’ve since resolved all our issues. There are no more problems between us.”
Mr. Odunsi also mentioned that Asake has promised to buy him a new house and cover all his medical expenses.
Hear him; “Asake said he will do everything I want. We’ve settled everything, and now he’s looking for a new house to buy for me.”
In addition, Asake has taken full responsibility for his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat, affirming that he has never denied her and now plans to provide for her fully.
“He has agreed to take full responsibility for his daughter, Zeenat,” Mr. Odunsi confirmed.
The reconciliation comes after a public rift where Mr. Odunsi accused Asake of abandoning him during his health struggles.
Mr. Odunsi, who has been battling the effects of a stroke since 2022, had previously claimed that Asake had not offered financial support during his decline.
However, the father now confirms that the issues have been resolved, and Asake has sent him the necessary funds for his ongoing medical treatment.
