Ex-Governor Ibrahim Shema of Katsina State has been accused of stealing N8.6 billion by the present governor of the state. The state governor has reported the matter to the Katsina State Judicial Commission of Inquiry.
Counsel for the commission, Mr. Hassan Liman (SAN) revealed this recently. He added that the money was stolen from the accounts of the Ministry of Environment, departments of Community Development, Special Duties, Girl-Child Education and Almajiri Affairs.
