Nollywood industry has again been thrown into mourning again after it lost another veteran actor, Amaechi Muonagor to the cold hands of death.
The popular actor died on Sunday morning, March 24th, 2024 after a prolonged illness. He died at the age of 62.
Social media commentator, Morris Monye, disclosed this via his X page, formerly Twitter.
Monye wrote; “Deeply heartbroken by the news of Amaechi Muonagor’s passing.”
“He was a talented Nollywood actor whose presence on our screens was truly masterful.”
“We watched with concern as he battled health issues, offering whatever support we could to help him seek treatment in India.”
“This tragic loss highlights the need for better healthcare in our country.”
For those who don’t know, Amaechi Muonagor before his demise, suffered kidney failure and was on dialysis.
His death came few days after a viral video of the actor surfaced on the internet begging for money to help enable him have a kidney transplant.
