Equity Entertainment Concepts boss and Global President of Project NWAFOR Igbo, Rowland Okorie, has appointed renowned publicist and President of Cornel Media Consult (cMc), Ambassador Cornell Udofia as the Media Consultant for Project NWAFOR Igbo.
Cornell Udofia is the Convener and President of CMC Gladiators and Cornell Media Concept (cMc). He is also the Publisher of The Gladiators Magazine and Convener of CMC Africa Award of Excellence. Cornell Udofia is a Multiple Award Winning Publicist and Image Maker Per Excellence.
Rowland, speaking on Thursday, October 26th, 2023 on the choice of Cornell, said; “Ambassador Udofia is the most powerful guy I have seen in the media, PR and entertainment industry. He is the man best for the job. He is the official Media/Planning Consultant of Project NWAFOR Igbo.”
“It is interesting to know that most of the big names in the entertainment industry got to limelight through his expertise and support. There is no big name in the music, comedy, movie, fashion, dance and even DJ that will say he or she did not passed through this humble and creative personality as far as I know.”
For those who don’t know, Project NWAFOR Igbo is an initiative aimed at bringing business opportunities and investors to the eastern part of Nigeria.
Rowland, Nigerian-America-based entertainment entrepreneur, recounting on his experience with the PR guru back then in Nigeria, said; “I learned so much from Cornell Udofia and I think to this day it is hard to find a man that will replicate him in the industry. He was my strongest ally, the appointment is a payback for showing me the way to the limelight in the entertainment industry while in Nigeria.”
Rowland added; “Project NWAFOR Igbo is our pet project, it is aimed at attracting foreign investors into Igboland and beyond for massive development.”

Rowland also hinted on bringing in the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) as a recruitment association in conjunction with Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN) with cMc Gladiators as a member of the launching committee which will be unveiled in December 2023, in Lagos, Nigeria.
