Nigerian famous rapper, Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf, popularly known as CDQ has cried out to Nigerians that his enemies are after him.
This is coming following his arrest recently by the operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for allegedly being in possession of Cannabis in Lagos.
However, the singer who took to his Instagram page on Thursday, April 15th, 2021 lamented that it was the handwork of his enemies.
He wrote; “No sleep for the wicked… iyalaya yin o ni sun for dis Lagos… They tryna set me up today but Olohun wa.”
He also wrote moments after; “Whoever is behind all these false accusations it shall boomerang on them and their family… They can’t spoil the name I built with sweat and blood.. Yeh yeh.”
NDLEA spokesperson, Femi Babafemi had revealed that the agency got information about CDQ being in possession of the banned substance and immediately swung into action by storming his Lekki home and arrested him.
Babafemi said; “CDQ was arrested in his house at Lekki for being in possession of cannabis. He was arrested based on credible information on Wednesday night but he was granted administrative bail.”
“He is expected back into custody on Thursday because investigation is still ongoing.
“Some substances were found and he mentioned some names of some other big artistes.”
