Nigerian famous musician, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable has urged renowned cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye a.k.a Bobrisky to ask God for forgiveness.
This is coming after Bobrisky, in a post on social media on Thursday, revealed that he is struggling with suicidal thoughts.
However, Portable, in a video he shared on his Instagram page, said; “Bobrisky, life is risky. God doesn’t want sinners to die. Tell him to repent. If you die as a sinner, you are going to hell. Beg God to forgive you.”
“Help me tell Bobrisky to ask God for forgiveness. All he needs is to ask God for forgiveness of sin. What Bobrisky is facing now, if he repents, he will enjoy the world.”
For those who don’t know, VeryDarkMan had on Tuesday released a voice recording allegedly by Bobrisky claiming that he bribed EFCC officials with N15 million.
In the recording, Bobrisky claimed that the N15 million bribe was meant for the EFCC officials to drop the money laundering charge against him.
Also, in the recording Bobrisky claimed that he never spent a day in the prison after he was convicted and sentenced to 6months imprisonment.
In the recording, Bobrisky equally said his godfather arranged a lodge instead of a jail for him where he serve his term.
Meanwhile, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had invited Bobrisky and popular social media critic, Martins Otse a.k.a VeryDarkMan over the N15 million bribery allegations against its officials.
EFCC Spokesman, Dele Oyewale disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, September 24th, 2024.
Oyewale stated that the EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede has constituted a team of investigators to look into the allegations.
He said; “To this end, the Commission hereby invites both Okuneye and Otse (VeryDarkMan) to make themselves available at its Lagos Directorate to assist investigators unearth the alleged bribery.”
It is interesting to know that Bobrisky is an ex-convict. He was sentenced to four months in prison on April 12, 2024 over the abuse of Naira notes.
