Nigerian famous singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable has finally been arrested by the police.
The Ogun State Police Command has now arrested the musician after he resisted arrest by the officers from the command and refused to honour the police invitation.
His arrest is coming after the police gave a 72-hour ultimatum to him which elapsed on Friday, March 31st, 2023.
The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi who spoke on the development, revealed that the singer has been arrested and currently cooling his feet at the state headquarters of the police in Eleweran, Abeokuta.
According to Oyeyemi, the singer was arrested after refusing five invitations.
However, police sources squealed to us that the musician will remain in police custody till Monday when he will be charged in court.
