Nigerian singer, Emoseh Khamofu, professionally known as Bloody Civilian, is in hot soup.
Popular pastor and founder of Liberty Gospel Church, Helen Ukpabio, has sued her for N200 billion for alleged defamation.
Trouble started after the female singer took to her X page, formerly Twitter to make defamatory comments about the female pastor. And this came while she was being celebrated on her 60th birthday.
The singer’s comments drew the attention of Pastor Ukpabio’s daughter, Imabong who, thus, gave her 5-hours to delete the post or face legal action.
Be that as it may, Pastor Helen Ukpabio, in a letter by her lawyers; Victor Ukutt & CO. Legal Practitioners, demanded a whopping N200 billion from the singer for her libelous post and comments about her. She also demanded a public apology from the singer.
However, Bloody Civilian, reacting to the development, took to her X page and wrote; “Guys, they just sued me for 200 billion naira. This December I will be adding the following to my services: standup comedy, weddings and settling disputes.”
