Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has issued a stern warning to Nigerians to be extra vigilant about fire outbreaks in the country.

While delivering a sermon during the church’s February Thanksgiving service in Ebute-Metta, Lagos, Pastor Adeboye, fondly called Daddy G.O. by RCCG members, shared a crucial message with the congregation.

He revealed that one of the key prophecies for the year included prayers to avert fire outbreaks, storms, and floods.

He said, “I must urgently share this. At the start of this year, one of the prophecies was to pray against fire outbreaks, storms, and floods.”

“Within just one month, we’ve already witnessed a surge in fire incidents globally, and Nigeria is not exempt. We must all remain prayerful,” he emphasized.

Pastor Adeboye particularly cautioned against carelessness with fire, urging the public to avoid any form of open flames and to refrain from burning bushes when preparing farmland.

He concluded with a heartfelt plea: “Please, do not take this warning lightly. May God answer our prayers and grant us protection.”
