Talented singer, Augustine Kelechi Miles, popularly known as Tekno has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command.
Trouble started for the Pana singer when he participated in a mobile advertisement where he displayed some girls dancing half-naked in a transparent glass truck around the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge, Lagos at the weekend.
His arrest is coming after he has been condemned openly by Lagos residents for his despicable act. Thus, Tekno was arrested on Tuesday, August 6th, 2019 for breaching public decency.
Speaking on his arrest, the Lagos State Police Spokesman, Bala Elkana, said; “The command has arrested Tekno and the two girls for conveying half naked girls at the Lekki area of Lagos. He is presently undergoing questioning at the state Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti.”
“Such acts of public indecency is against the criminal code and if after investigation those involved are found guilty, they will be charged to court.”
It is interesting to know that, the Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency has suspended the advertising firm, Pro-Vision Media Systems Limited.
