Nigerian highlife singer, OYO C, born Monday Ohabuiro Chijioke has started the new year on a very high note with plenty of shows lined up for him this January following the just concluded Industry Night Event at De Platinos, BCA Road, Umuahia, Abia State.
The Abia State-born singer, Oyo C Baba as he is fondly called left no stone unturned as he wowed everyone with his latest single; “Woronso Baby” at the event. The singer left the stage with his fans screaming his name, asking for more like ‘Oliver Twist.’
Amongst other artistes that featured at the grand event were; J6, MC Organic, Synglet, TS, DJ Cheff and a host of others.
For those who don’t know, Oyo C is an award winning R&B/Hip-pop artist, signed under an international music record label; Face Reality Records. It is interesting to know that Oyo C and his record label have won scores of awards and recognitions both home and abroad as a result of their immense contributions to the music industry.
However, speaking on his plans for the year, Oyo C said; “I am set to take centre stage of the Nigerian music scene this year. I and my able record label, FACE REALITY RECORDS have recorded lots of achievements within a short while.”
“Last year alone we won plenty of awards. My video ONURU UBE did the wonder for us, my fans all over the world love the video and I am sure my new song ‘Woronso Baby’ will speak volume for itself.”
