Billionaire businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana has finally been released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This is coming after the billionaire had spent three days in detention undergoing interrogations.
Obi Cubana was released on Thursday evening, November 4th, 2021.
EFCC’s Spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren confirmed his release.
According to the EFCC, Cubana was allowed to go after the its crack detectives completed their questioning.
Recall that Obi Cubana was arrested on Monday, November 1st, 2021 by the EFCC for money laundering and alleged tax fraud.
