The Okpaleke family of Umuocha village, Amesi in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, has released the burial programme of their deceased son, father and grandfather, Nze Gabriel Chinedu Okpaleke.
According to a burial plan signed on behalf of the family by Chinedu Okpaleke, the rites of passage for the late Nze Gabriel Okpaleke who died at the age of 65 will commence on Thursday 27th July, 2023 with a wake keep in his compound at 4pm.
The next day, Friday, 28th July, 2023, there will be a requiem mass in his honour at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Amesi at 10am.
Internment follows immediately at his compound while Thanksgiving Mass takes place on Sunday, 30th July, 2023.
During his life time, Nze Okpaleke was a US based businessman, philanthropist, community leader and a devout Christian.
He is survived by his wife and children and numerous relations including; HRH, Igwe Raphael Okpaleke (Igwe Ohazurume) Igwe Akalabo 111 of Amesi, Chief Oguchi Okpaleke and, uncle Cardinal Peter Ebere Okpaleke, Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese
