Nollywood has lost another prominent figure in the person of veteran actor, Sadiq Daba.
Daba, who became a household name in Nigeria for the role he played in NTA drama series, Cock Crow at Dawn as Bitrus, died on Wednesday evening, March 3, 2021 after battling with leukemia and prostate cancer.
Daba, according to sources died in Lagos at his Marwa Garden residence, Alausa.
It would be recalled that some time in 2019, Daba had came out publicly to seek financial assistance for his treatment and billionaire businessman and philanthropist, Femi Otedola, amongst other concerned Nigerians supported him.
However, Daba lost to leukemia and prostate cancer after battling the ailment for over 2years.
