These are not the best of times for the Nigerian movie industry as the sector has lost another star in the person of Karibi Fubara.
The famous actor died after a serious battle with cancer.
His demise was announced by his sister who broke the sad news on her Instagram page on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021.
She wrote: “My brother, Karibi Fubara, has joined the ancestral realm. I’m devastated, but not hopeless.”
“He lived fully and with joy. Left a great body of work. Will be a powerful ancestor. I love you.”
“He was a warrior, now he is an angel in heaven.”
For those who don’t know, Karibi Fubara rose to stardom after his role in the movie; ‘Before 30’ .
Karibi before his death starred in many movies like; ‘Smart Money Woman‘, ‘God Calling’, ‘Quam’s Money’, ‘Castle and Castle’, ‘Royal Hibiscus Hotel’ and others.
