Famous Nigerian musician, Omah Lay is in hot soup. The singer alongside his female colleague, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems have been arrested for flouting Covid-19 guidelines in Uganda.
The duo have now been arraigned before a court in Kampala for disobeying Covid-19 guidelines in Uganda.
We gathered that Omah Lay and Tems were arrested on Sunday, December 13th, 2020 together with their managers for holding an illegal concert at a resort in Munyonyo, Uganda.
Sources disclosed to us that the concerts attracted a big crowd which went against President Yoweri Museveni’s directives on the prevention of the spread of Covid-19.
Sources squealed that the organizers of the event disguised the show as a lunch and dinner event which later turned out to be a concert with large crowd in attendance.
