There is no denying the fact that 25years old Victory Gbakara has entered the history book of Nigerian Idol after winning the eighth edition of the reality TV show.

Be that as it may, the Delta-born talented singer, speaking shortly after he was declared winner of the show, said; “I can’t contain my joy. I am so happy, guys.”

“This journey has been a life-changing experience, and it would not have been possible without the support and love of my family, friends, and especially my incredible fans.”

“I didn’t see it coming, but I prayed about it.”

“My closest rival, Precious Mac is an amazing singer with a very good foundation, whatever happens, I am grateful that I met people like her.”

For those who don’t know, Victory defeated Precious Mac to clinch the whopping N35million cash prize.

Apart from the N35 million cash prize, Victory also went home with a brand new SUV.

Other prizes include one Bigi Refrigerator and one year’s supply of Bigi soft drinks, an all-expense paid trip, courtesy Tecno, a music record deal by a reputable label that will include a video shoot, one year supply of WAW detergent, and a fully installed DStv Explora with one year Premium subscription.
