Nigerian Idol: Contestants Visit Rite Foods Limited, Hail Bigi Drinks For Sponsorship

The seven contestants of the exhilarating Nigerian Idol on Friday 4th of June 2021, visited Rite Foods Limited, the sponsor of the music talent reality show as a demonstration of their appreciation for the company’s support for the entertainment industry.

The contestants who with their electrifying performances thrilled the judges and the audience at the last show were Kingdom Kroseide, Akunna Okey, Faith Onyeje, Francis Atela, Beyonce Ajomiwe, Comfort Alalade, and Emmanuel Elijah.

With smiles on their faces all during the visit, the contestants were over the moon with the warm reception accorded them at Rite Foods, eulogizing the world-class and proudly Nigeria food and beverage company, for supporting platforms for talent discovery in the country.

Admonishing the contestants who have six weeks to the grand finale, the Company’s Brand Manager, BoluwatifeAdedugbe, encouraged the young contestants to be creative and also have integrity as well as a strong commitment to what they do, as that will spur them to the end of the show and ultimately for the prize.

Highlights of the visit include the “Bigi My Number One Challenge” singing competition by the seven Nigerian Idol singers which were divided into two teams, with Francis, Beyonce, Kingdom, and Faith on one side while the other team comprises Emma, Akunna, and Comfort.

As an innovative brand, the contest was even more exciting with the Bigi bottle prop microphones representing the 12 Bigi variants of carbonated soft drinks  and Bigi premium water, which was highly applauded by the contestants.

Though a winner was meant to emerge at the end of the contest, the two teams performed so well that they were both rewarded by the company. The Brand Manager described their performances as incredibly outstanding.

Another fascinating moment was the mixing of the various Bigibrands for cocktails, where they were taught how to prepare different recipes with the flavours.All the contestants attested to the quality taste of the final mix.
