Nigerian Government Tends To Heed Prophet T.B Joshua’s Prophecy On Agriculture

As Nigerian Federal Executive Council (FEC) has revised the 2020 Budget signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari, the government’s significant investment in the agricultural sector has highlighted a renewed realisation of the importance of the farming sector.

In a briefing on Wednesday, May 13th, 2020, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Alhaji Sabo Nanono, said the Council approved a loan facility of $1.2 billion to finance the mechanisation of agriculture in the country.

“This is going to be a major revolution in the agriculture sector that we have never seen before,” he stated, noting that the planned mechanism would span 632 local government areas with 140 processing plants.

This development coincides with the prophetic message of Prophet T.B Joshua of Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) who insisted 2020 would be a “year of humility” and called on investment in the agricultural sector.

T.B Joshua had on December 28th, 2019 predicted that; “Agriculture will help the economy because the economy will have a backlash. People should invest in agriculture. Let us farm to help the economy.”

The Coronavirus outbreak and the ‘global lockdown’ instituted in its wake has indeed caused significant financial ramifications worldwide, just as the cleric foretold.
