Aaron Gordon got 27 points, six rebounds, and six assists, Nikola Jokic added 23 points and 12 rebounds, and the Denver Nuggets beat the Miami Heat 108-95. Denver took a 3-1 lead and will look to close out the series at home on Monday night.

“I know when my teammates need me, and just doing it for my brothers,” said Gordon after the game.
For Nuggets head coach Michael Malone, it was an important step, but the series far from over. “Just understand that we haven’t done anything. I told our guys, the first thing I said, we’re not celebrating. It’s a good win. We’ve done our job. But we’re not celebrating like we’ve done anything yet.”
Jimmy Butler led the Heat with 25 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, and six Heat players scored in double figures, but Miami committed 15 turnovers and could not overcome the strong shooting night from the Nuggets.
“We don’t have no quit,” said Butler. “We are going to continually fight, starting tomorrow, to get better. And then we are going into Monday and do what we said we were going to do this entire time and win. We have to. We have no other choice. Otherwise, we did all this for no reason.”
Game 5 will be on Monday night (2:30 a.m. CAT Tuesday morning) in Denver.
