Miss Green & White Nigeria Sends Tribute To Flight Officer, Tolulope Arotile

Miss Green & White Nigeria under the leadership of Amb. Juliet Geoffrey Porbeni has send its emotional tribute to Nigeria’s first combat pilot, Tolulope Arotile who died recent.

 

The tribute signed by Juliet Porbeni and the Western Region Director of Miss Green and White Nigeria, Dr. David Lucas, regards;

“Tributes to our dear Tolulope Arotile, First Nigerian Air Force Female Helicopter Pilot’ Candle in the Wind’.”

“Born 24 years ago to the family of Mr and Mrs Akintunde Arotile in Kaduna, Kaduna State.’

“Tolulope’s life shone like a million stars and just faded away when humanity needed her the most.”

“A galant soldier with a lot to offer her country and the world at large.
A native of Iffe area in Ijumu local government area of Kogi State, Tolulope bid this world goodbye on the 14th of July, 2020 after a motor accident in Kaduna.”

“Tolu, attended Air Force Primary School from 2000-2005. Air Force Secondary School from 2006-2011 before gaining admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna as a member of 64 Regular Course on 22 September, 2012, graduating with Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.”

“She was commissioned into the Air Force in September, 2017. During her short but impactful stay, the late Tolulope flew several combatant missions under Operation GAMA AIIKI in Minna, Niger State.”

“Before her demise, she held a commercial pilot license and also underwent tactical flying training for Augusta 109 Power Attack Helicopter training in Italy.”

“Tolulope, you lived your life like a candle in the wind. Good night our gallant soldier, keep resting in the bosom of your Creator.”
