Omowunmi Aloba, the widow of popular Nigerian singer, late Mohbad has made a shocking revelation.
Wunmi, speaking in an interview recently revealed that she met the singer on a dating platform, 2Go when she was 13years old.
Hear her; “I met him when I was 13, about 12 years ago on 2go, which is an app. I met him there and we became friends. I used to be a rapper, and he sings too.”
“We started as friends. Our relationship was based on friendship from the beginning since I was young. He was 15 at the time and told me he liked me. Our relationship continued until we got married, and God blessed us with a baby boy.”
“We began our relationship officially when I was 17 while I was in university. He was in Osun, and I was in Ijebu-Ode. Initially, our relationship was not very serious, but we grew closer in 2018 and remained so until he died in 2023.”
Omowunmi and Mohbad had their child, Liam in April 2023.
However, Mohbad died on September 12th, 2023 under controversial circumstances. He was buried less than 24 hours after his tragic death.
His body was exhumed on September 21st for an autopsy due to controversies surrounding his death.
The results of the autopsy are still pending but the father of the deceased, Joseph Aloba, has previously stated that the body of the singer would only be reburied when the autopsy results are released and a DNA test is conducted on his grandson, Liam to ascertain his true paternity.
