Lagos State Police Commissioner, CP Hakeem Odumosu has paid a condolence visit to the family of former Governor of Lagos State, late Chief Lateef Jakande at his Ilupeju residence.
CP Odumosu, who arrived at the house of Chief Jakande at 10am on Friday, February 12th, 2021 was received by the wife, children and relations of the Lagos former governor.
While commiserating with the family, the Government and good people of Lagos State, he described the late nationalist as a man of the people who had written his name in gold in Lagos State and Nigeria at large.
The police boss affirmed that Pa Jakande’s death will create a vacuum in many spheres of our society, particularly in Lagos State.
He therefore prayed that God grants his family, the Government and the good people of Lagos State the fortitude to bear the loss; and grants baba Al-janat Fiduas.
