The Lagos State Police Command has apologized to popular disc jockey, Obianuju Catherine Udeh a.k.a DJ Switch over fake arrest report.
For those who don’t know, reports breezed in this morning that DJ Switch was arrested by the police in Lagos State for allegedly assaulting a police officer, and that she has been taken to the magistrate court in Eti Osa for prosecution.
However, the State Police Command in a statement by the Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that the error was from their end as he begged the popular DJ.
Hundeyin said; “There is a mixup from our end. Arrested person is DJ Commissioner Wysei not DJ Switch.”
“Apologies for all inconveniences to a few media outfits like Lindaikeji, BBC and TVC that I gave confirmation this morning.”
“Apologies to DJ Switch too.”
