That veteran Nollywood actor cum politician, Kenneth Okonkwo has dumped the Labour Party (LP) is an established fact.
For those who don’t know, Kenneth Okonkwo was the spokesperson to the presidential candidate of the party, Peter Obi, in the 2023 general election.
However, reacting to his defection, the party squealed that Okonkwo’s exit from the party did not come as a surprise.
The National Publicity Secretary of the Labour Party, Obiora Ifoh, disclosed this in a statement.
He said; “Kenneth Okonkwo’s resignation from the Labour Party didn’t come to us as a surprise. We also think that his attack on the party’s leader, Peter Obi, is rather unfortunate.”
“However, we will continue not to dignify him with any response, as we understand that his attention-craving attitude knows no bounds.”
