Kaduna International Film Festival (KADIFF) founder, Israel Kashim Audu, on behalf of the Festival Lifetime Achievement Award Nomination team, has announced six film practitioners that have made a mark for themselves over the years in the Nigerian film industry popularly known all over the world as “Nollywood”.
The six Nollywood practitioners are;
- ALI NUHU
- DR. AHMED SARARI (NATIONAL PRESIDENT MOPPAN)
- FRANCIS DURU
- MUSTAPHA NABRASKA
- GLORIA ANOZIE YOUNG
- FATIMA WASHA who will receive a special recognition award from the film festival.
While congratulating them, the founder of KADIFF, Audu Kashim Israel urged them to continue to do more in promoting and projecting Nigeria’s rich culture to the world.
He Added that they where carefully selected because of their growth and contributions to the film industry over the years and no doubt KADIFF is proud of their success story.
However, the 6th Kaduna International Film Festival will hold on August 22nd – 26th, 2023 at Alliance Française de Kaduna State Nigeria, 9:00am daily.
