The founder of Kaduna International Film Festival (KADIFF) cum Vice Chairman, Nigeria Film Festivals Association, Audu Kashim Israel, has sent a congratulatory message to Kannywood superstar, Ali Nuhu on his recent appointment by the President of Nigeria, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR as the new Managing Director of Nigeria Film Corperation, and Dr. Shaibu Husseini as the new Director General, National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB).
Audu said; “Indeed this is a well deserved appointment because both individuals have distinguished themselves in the industry and have made impact, Ali Nuhu was one of the Kannywood Actors to endorse the maiden Kaduna international film festival in 2018 while Dr. Shuaibu Husseini was the head of the board of jurors for KADIFF in 2021, their contributions to KADIFF cannot go unnoticed. Audu wished them well highlighting that he looks forward to working closely with them for the growth and development of the creative industry in Nigeria.”
Beside, President Bola Tinubu also appointed other new Chief Executive Officers for agencies under the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, and Creative Economy:
