Information reaching us at the moment has it that the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has been arrested.
This was disclosed by the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami (SAN).
Malami made the disclosure on Tuesday, June 29th, 2021. He said Kanu was arrested and brought back to Nigeria on Sunday.”
He revealed that the arrest was a collaborative effort between security agencies in Nigeria and Interpol.
According to Malami, Kanu would be taken before the Federal High Court in Abuja for the continuation of his trial on charges bordering on terrorism, treasonable felony, unlawful possession of firearms and management of an unlawful society
