When you have a selfless and visionary leader you must definitely have visionary and selfless followers.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu remains a selfless and visionary leader with his unprecedented antecedents during his tenure as the governor of Lagos State, especially the creation of 57 Local government and Local Government Development Authorities.
Fortunately enough the administrators of all these Local Governments and LCDA are all pro active and ready to serve their people, their communities and Lagos State in general at all times thereby following the leadership traits of their leader Asiwaju Tinubu.
One of such is the vibrant and energetic Chairman of Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA, Honorable Olusola Rasaq Ajala.
At my recent visit to the council I saw some of the staffers of the council working rigorously in the Chairman’s office, out of curiosity I asked some one who told me the chairman was giving out free WAEC and GCE forms to assist some students especially the indigents within the LCDA to enable them take part in the forthcoming examination.
I was further exposed to so many assistances and developmental projects the chairman had been embarking upon since his first term in office which included giving out of bursaries, scholarship schemes, periodical distribution of food items, free medical facilities for the people and many more.
All these feats can only be achieved by a leader who is not selfish and self centered. That man his Honorable Olusola Ajala, a great student of Asiwaju Tinubu’school of thought.
“I see myself as a mere custodian of the people and their assets which was given to me when I was voted for so when you get from the society, always try to give back to the society because prosperity will judge all of us, that is my principle of life,” Ajala said.
