Nigerian politician and former lawmaker from Kaduna State, Senator Shehu Sani has been honoured by Heritage TV London as People’s Ambassador.
According to Heritage London Team; “We are honouring Senator Shehu Sani because of his selfless service to humanity. We have seen how he has fought and still fighting against injustice in the society.”
“Going by his antecedent in government, one would have rightly expected that Sani would have long given up on standing for truth and fairness in Nigeria, but it is a pleasant shocker that Sani is one of the strong voices we have in Nigeria and in Africa, at large.”
“The decision to award him was unanimously taken to encourage him and a few Nigerians in a continuous effort to speak for and advocate the truth without regard to the pressure incited by the Nigerian government/political system to default on your much-appreciated values.”
“Sani is one person who is known for his genuine love for humanity. He has spoken countless times for the masses — raising his loud and strong voice in an attempt to give intensity to the voices of those who, due to oppression, have been robbed of the volume their voices need to cry out their embitterment.”
“We have also seen his endeavours in uniting the two religious parties, that is — the Muslims and Christians — in Southern Kaduna in order to bring an end to the pogrom and genocide in the state.”
