The gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP in Kwara State, Alhaji Hakeem Oladimeji Lawal has commiserated with the people of Shao, Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State, over the death of the Chief Imam of the community, Sheikh Habibullaah Muhammad Jamiu Bamgbola.
Lawal while reacting to the demise of the Islamic cleric via a condolence release, described the death as unfortunate, stressing that it’s coming at a time his scholarly advice and guidance are most needed.
He said; “On behalf of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), I send our condolences to the Ohoro of Shao, Council of Ulama, Muslim community, Shao town, immediate and extended families of the deceased scholar.”
“We pray Allah forgive his transgressions, bless him with eternal rest, grant his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
