These are the best of times for Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and his family, as he has now tested negative for COVID-19 better known as Coronavirus.
The Governor who has been in Isolation after testing positive for Coronavirus took to his Twitter page to announce the good news.
He wrote; “I am deeply moved by your prayers and support throughout this period. I am so thankful. This evening, I received my second negative test result for COVID-19. I especially thank Prof Temitope Alonge, who acted in my stead as Head of the Oyo State COVID-19 Task Force.”

For those who don’t know, the governor designated Prof Temitope Alonge, former Chief Medical Director of the University College, Ibadan, to Head the COVID-19 Task Force after he tested positive for COVID-19 in March.
