Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has sent a very strong message to Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) and other candidates that the people of of his state will only vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Umahi said; “Everywhere you go in Ebonyi State is APC. We are only Obidient to you Bola Tinubu. We have no apologies. I’m speaking any how because I’m standing on our performances that we have achieved in Ebonyi State.”
“Anyone who wants to challenge us, should tell us whether we have not fared better under the APC government. I’m the first son of President Muhammadu Buhari. I hope you (Tinubu) will take me also as your son? I know it’s done.”
For those who don’t know, Umahi defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC) over the incessant marginalization of the South-East geopolitical zone by the PDP and denying Igbo people (Ndigbo) the chance of producing the President of the country from Igbo extraction.
