Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle of Zamfara State who is also the Sub-committee Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Primaries on Venue and site servicing has paid a special visit to the Venue of the upcoming Primaries on 6th and 7th June 2022.
The Governor went round the Eagle Square, Abuja, the Venue of the primaries and directed that the arrangement must take care of delegates’ and other important dignitries convenient sitting on specific raws, in alphabetical orders, and according to their respective states.
The hired events managers briefed Matawalle on the progress so far and assured him of excellent performance to ensure successful hosting of the event.
The Chairman further directed that more lighting should be ensured in the Venue in order to give the entire area a very colorful illumination during the event.
The Chairman was conducted round and briefed on the different compartmentalizations of the Venue from the Entry point, to the Exit.
Other components of the venue include a very transparent and open arrangement of an area demarcated for the ballot boxes, red carpet area for VIPs, and delegates’ pavilions among others.
The Chairman assured that there will be a very interesting arrangement of the Venue as well as other site services required for the successful conduct of the primaries.
Governor Bello Matawalle during the inspection met with his colleague, the Chairman of the Security and Compliance Sub-committee Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State in company of his Co-Chair Gen. Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau (Rtd.), former Interior Minister.
