Such was the case on Thursday, November 9, 2023, and Saturday, November 11, 2023, respectively when two lovebirds of the love song, SoniJohn Nimi-Johnson, and Nkiruka Nwakonobi tied the nuptial nuts traditionally and in the church.
Both events were classy and memorable as guests, including top civil servants, captains of industry, professionals in various fields, etc graced them.
The traditional marriage was held at Ocean Garden Estate, Eko Akete while the church wedding took place at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1004 Estate, Victoria Island, Lagos
Remarkably, the traditional wedding and solemnization of the holy matrimony between Nkiru and Somijohn meant for the families of Engr & Mrs. Felix Okoji Nwakonobi of Ogbeche quarters, Utchi, Ndokwa-East Local Government Area of Delta State and Captain & Mrs. Charles Johnson( Rtd) of Okpoma Town, Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, an intra-state unification.
Shortly after the church event, a colorful reception was held for guests at Mera Mera Beach House, The Good Beach, Victoria Island.
While the guests were treated to choice drink and food, Nkiru and SoniJohson treated them to exhilarating dance steps which attracted effusive applause and rain of Naira notes on the new couple.
The new couple are both techocrats. While Sonijohn is the Managing Director of Fortis Consultants, a real estate development firm, his delectable bribe, Nkiruka is the Chief Executive Officer, CEO of Merida Citya, a lifestyle and fashion brand.
